can I get the max performances from a 7K rpm 32M hdd. is it lesser than when it inside notebook ?

network compatibility?

i want to connect my old Seagate Momentus 5400.6 320GB SATA hard drive(its a 2.5 inch i believe.the hard drive came from my old HP laptop) to my Belkin N600 wireless router as a network drive.the router has a single USB 2.0 connection designed for this purpose.i want to make sure it will operate properly prior to buying and installing on my network.also is this available in store?as in in stock?

Drive quit working

Installed the drive and it worked fine. After about one hour it started making clicking sounds then quit working. The blue light flashes. Have tried accessing the drive on four different computers with no luck. Trying to do so even crashed the hard drive in one of them!!!!!!
Make sure that cables are completey connected
