Purchased on sale for right at $100. Works great and this is our 7-8th Tom Tom over the last 10 years or so. Most family members have Tom Toms. Good update on the lifetime maps and they keep you informed if there are any problems so they can be corrected

I guess manufacturers think we don't care about sound of tvs these days. Setup on tv is great, we used an HDTV antenna to pick up 55 channels and get a pretty good picture. The speakers sound very 'tin' like. I see having to get some auxiliery speakers to get good sound to go along with the good picture.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Yep, just go to POI (points of interest) and put in CAMPGROUND. It will pull them up for you.

I have a tontom One3rd addition I would like to replace with a 5" tomtom gps. I want one that I can move between vechiles what do you recommend?

You can simply pop it off your windshield and move it to any vehicle you would like. Takes all of 3 seconds to move.

I have never had a GPS in my car How do I enter the address to go to?

Click on ADDRESS, click on the state, the city and the address. It will take you a few seconds for it to calculate how to get there and viola, hit GO and get moving.

Does this gps good for truck drivers

While a truck driver could use this one, there are models that are simply made for truckers. They show what roads trucks can't be driver on, etc. Sorry I don't have the specific model number handy, but google "Tom Tom truck GPS" and it will bring up the models
