What's great about it: brighter than comparable Incandescnet bulb
Was brighter than comparable CFL and incandescent bulbs. Further, it was dimmable, with no noise or humming sound.
I would recommend this to a friend!

What's great about it: Dimmable
Bought it cause I had a good deal, but I was not disappointed at all. Previous purchases were disappointing specially due to the brightness, but these bulbs were actually brighter than the comparable incandescent bulb.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Can this be used in partially enclosed light fixtures?

I'd like to replace the 40 watt bulbs in the fixture over my bathroom sink. I have been told that some LED bulbs cannot be used in enclosed fixtures because the heat generated negatively affects the bulbs. The glass shades on the fixture are not completely closed, they are tulip shaped. Will this allow sufficient heat dissipation? Thanks for your help.
the bulbs themselves are cool to touch even after several hours of operation. I had used it in the bathroom, and no issues so far.
