we have a 35" clear entry door openingto our home, with the doors & drawer removed will this unit fit into our home

Are the sides also stainless steel? One side will be exposed by the counter and we want the same look and material as the front....

NO just the front is stainless steel.

Does the subwoofer power down when not in use? There is a power button behind where the link button is

YES, IF YOU DON'T USE IT IT SHUT OFF THE SOUND BAR AND THE SUBWOOFER AT THE SAME TIME.

What is the difference between the HTCT 790 and the HTNT5, other than the price

I DON'T KNOW ABOUT HTNT5 BUT THE HTCT790 I LOVE IT. AND THINKING ABOUT BUYING ANOTHER ONE FOR MY BEDROOM!
