I got this item a while ago and it has been working great. It really works well with android devices where there's many apps that lets you stream into your TV. So far I love it and would recommend it to any one who is interested in getting it.

can you view showbox movies from a samsung ?

Yes, you can get download a separate player such as allcast and when you click on which ever film or show you then play it with allcast so you can choose to play it with Chromecast.
