how much are the books to buy for the nook

The prices vary, just like with paper books. You should be able to browse downloadable books on Barnes and Noble's web site.

Can you connect the Model: UN32EH4003FXZA SKU: 5605904 to a Mac OSX ?

I'd like to be able to use the TV to access the internet at times on a bigger screen.
In some of the ratings it says this TV is internet compatible and in others they say it isn't.
If you can, could you please explain how - in simple terms, please !

You absolutely can. The easiest option is to pick up the mini display port to HDMI adapter (SKU: 2343706) and use any HDMI cable to connect to the TV.

This cable can absolutely be used to only transmit an audio signal. Just make sure to connect the red and white inputs and it should work perfectly fine.
