It takes up minimal space so I can keep it plugged into my laptop without worrying about banging into it, yet it holds more than enough for my needs (several programs, including an online game, which I use across multiple computers).
I would recommend this to a friend!

My one beef with these is they're not what I wanted (which was a set of headphones with in-line volume control I could use with my laptop). The in-line volume control is for iPods, iPads, and iPhones. This is NOT a negative review - it does (I assume, I don't have an i-anything) what it's designed to do and what it claims to do, just not what I was hoping it would do *g*
They're quite comfortable; the corded/braided cord is a significant improvement over the usual plastic-covered cord; and they do quite a decent job of suppressing external sounds (previous headphones, I've had to have my computer's volume set at ~30 to hear it well over my environment, and I could still hear what's going on around me; these, I'm generally around 18, switching up to 20 or down to 16 depending on what I'm watching, and I'm pretty much now oblivious to, well, everything.)
I'm no discerning audiophile so I can't really comment on the sound quality, although it certainly seems better than many other headphones I've owned.
All in all, a great set of headphones. Just wish the in-line volume control worked for what I wanted it to do, rather than simply controlling iProducts *g*
I would recommend this to a friend!

What's great about it: works great; very pretty
What's not so great: nothing so far
I told my sister I'd buy her a mouse during pre-college shopping, and she gravitated right to this one. She tends to choose "pretty" (and inexpensive) over "useful" so I was prepared to try to talk her out of her first couple of choices (which I figured would be a cheap brand I've never heard of, or an attractive wired mouse... but she saw this and went "Ooh!". I saw that it was a Logitech, and also went "Ooh!" I've used a Logitech mouse for several years now (well, several over the years, but my current one - an M310 - is about 4 years old) so I knew she was getting a quality product. And the unifying receiver means she can add a wireless number pad (important for a math major!) and a keyboard (in her room, using the laptop as a base with a monitor) and still only be down one USB port.
I would recommend this to a friend!

What's great about it: Light enough to carry around
What's not so great: Changing the combo was a bit confusing
Once the combo was changed (which was harder than many combo locks I've seen, but doable once I really sat down to do it) it's a great lock. I got it primarily for travel because it was on sale, but I haven't gone anywhere yet, but I've used it around the house and it looks like it'll do the job just fine. The combo part swivels so you can read it from a lot of different angles, which is REALLY nice.
I would recommend this to a friend!

What's great about it: Tough and looks great!

My family was shopping for a new laptop for my sister this summer, and while there we saw this backpack. She's not really one to actually ask for stuff - in fact, we often have to talk her into letting us buy something for us, and she's gotten to the point where she's afraid to show interest in anything for fear we'll just buy it!) but she was seriously fawning over it, and when we asked if she wanted it, she said YESSSSS (possibly with more S's) because it just looked so good. She needed a new backpack for college, and I've been using a Swiss Gear backpack for several years and it's still in good shape, so we went and bought it.
We got home, and she loaded it with my laptop and every heavy book in the house and wore it around for over an hour. Two months later, she loves it even more now that she's actually at college.
I would recommend this to a friend!

How far away from the lap top can the mouse be and still be able to connect and scroll?

Can my laptop be on a table and the mouse work about 5 feet away??
Yes - at least, the M310 can and it's the same receiver in both. I just took my M310 across the room and it worked fine.
