Purchased this phone through bestbuy.com and I couldn't be happier. This model came out 2 years ago and it still Updated to the latest android operating system (lolipop). Screen is crisp and bright. Touch screen is very responsive and battery lasts all day with normal use. Phone fits perfect in hand. Many low price cases available for this phone. I am protecting this phone with an otterbox defender series which can also be purchased through bestbuy.com

Upgrade to Android 4.4 KitKat ?

The specs indicate that Best Buy's device runs Android 4.2.2, but if I buy it directly from Verizon it already has Android 4.4 .

Has anybody upgraded their Best Buy purchased device to Android 4.4 ?
The Galaxy S4 Verizon from Bestbuy will now upgrade to Android 5.0 Lolipop. I just updated mine that I just purchased from bestbuy.com

Just wondering if the battery on the Samsung galaxy s 4 is replaceable or if it a sealed back on the phone?
Yes. Battery is removable and replaceable on the Samsung Galaxy S4
