What's great about it: Wonderful sound, easy set up, BT is awesome, syncs great with LG TV
What's not so great: Nothing Yet
I wanted to match my LG plasma with an LG sound bar so when this one went on sale, I immediately picked it up. It was supremely simple to set up - the sub-woofer connected flawlessly. The sound is really great coming from such a simple device. Really adds to the viewing experience. Also I'm hearing more background sounds from some of my Xbox 360 games which is cool. I've got friends that are now shopping for this themselves also.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Sound bar or Surround bar??

Are these better than surround sound systems? Some have wireless speakers, some do not. Also, some sound bars have sub woofers others do not. What is the best option??
A surround sound system has multiple speakers that you set up in your room - typically having to run wires from the main system/amplifier to all the speakers. The sound bar is a single device that has multiple speakers inside of it. The technology allows the sound from these speakers to simulate the surround sound. The wireless sub-woofer is simple to connect - it only needs power - and it really does add 'depth' to the TV sound.
