What's great about it: All in one solution that looks great
What's not so great: Does not work well with 90 degree power plugs
This is a great idea, it solves the problem for cabling to wall mount electronics. It is well made and includes all the things you need. I will be keeping the hole saw and fish sticks for use on other projects. I would love to see additional kits that come without these items to. Once you get them you do not need them for the second or third use. I was a bit frustrated with how tight it was trying to plug in a 90 degree power cord. This was intended for standard (straight) cords. A little patience and a couple wire ties to hold the other cables to the sides and the problem was solved. Well done Wiremold!!! A rating for Best Buy shipping, Poor - "F". This was shipped without packaging or simple paper wrapping. The package was all but destroyed when it arrived. The fish sticks were bent and took some wrangling to get them straight. Not what you expect after spending $40 on an item.

Safe to put wires behind wall?

Would a wiring inspector or electrician recommend placing the provided wires behind a closed off wall? Doesn't seem up to code.
I cannot answer whether an electrician or inspector would use or approve, as you know codes and personal preference varies. I was satisfied with the quality of the connectors, gauge of wire, reputation of Wiremold solutions and it is UL approved. The cable is rated far above the current load of a television. The alternative for a finished home is to have an outlet added, move an existing outlet or use the provided TV cord and route through the wall. This was a valid alternative in my personal opinion.
