So I own three Echo Dots, and three Home Minis. They are comparable, but there are some important differences.
First of all, I'm a Google Music subscriber, so the mini was a necessity, if I wanted to listen to my music on one of these devices. The sound is just OK, but better than the Echo Dot. It definitely isn't a replacement for a good music device, but in a pinch, it works. Unfortunately, unlike the Dot, it won't connect to external Bluetooth speakers, without owning a Google music dongle. Even then, you'd have to plug in the BT speaker, AND the dongle, so...
Also, when it comes to hearing you, over the background noise of its own music, or over the TV, or really over anything, the Mini fails miserably, in comparison to the Dot.
For home devices, this, like the Dot, supported everything I had. For some things, like my thermostat, I can ask this what the temperature on the main floor is, and it will know, where my Dot doesn't seem to understand, but pound for pound, it's about equivalent. The Dot gives you, seemingly, a little more leeway on how you describe what you want it to do.
Some of the features on the mini, like reading my appointments, etc., doesn't work, because I have a pro/business account for my gmail/calendar/etc. (you pay for their services, so you get less features, and less compatibility, right?)
I don't know what to say. I was underwhelmed, overall, but your mileage may vary. I already had Dots, so this was just gravy, and under-performed on expectations in some areas.

Yep, if you want a 49", 4k monitor, running @60hz, this is the one. That's the only reason I bought it. I dock a star, because Sony has a bug. When you first turn on the TV, you have to switch out of the graphics mode, then back in, in order to get the latency back to tolerable. There have been several others that have complained about this, and you can look it up online. For the price I paid, however, it's truly a minor nuisance. As a TV? I don't know - I've never used it as one, and my recommendation would be based on my use case.

It truly is a new experience, if you haven't tried this for yourself. It is relatively easy to setup, and comes with an XBOX One controller ($50 value), and possibly the touch controllers ($100 value), and I received all this for the price of $400, making the virtual cost $250? That's quite a steal at the time of this writing, and makes it a no-brainer against competitors.
Of course I have a high end gaming rig (I7 6700k + gtx 1080), and you will need one too if you intend to use this, but if you do, Oculus is now working on getting both their titles, and the titles from Steam to work from one location. I must say that for the most part, the Oculus store has superior titles, but I suppose it depends on your preference. There is already a large selection of titles, and some of them are even free! It does feel immersive when running titles (at least for me). There is a chance to get pretty sick (like fast paced roller coaster titles), but if you spend time in it, you will get used to it over the course of a few weeks. I have read that women especially, and people over the age of 15-16 tend to get this worse. I don't know, because I've only tried myself, and kids (kids love it!).
YOU WILL NEED SPACE for some titles. 6 foot by 8-10 foot is roughly a good area if you are going to be standing and moving around. There are a decent amount of titles where this isn't necessary, and plenty you can get away with just sitting at your desk. An example of a standing game with a decent amount of movement is Rick and Morty. This title will have you reaching for things, and moving around.
For all you hardcore gamers out there, I will state that this is an impulse buy, and it isn't going to change your normal gaming habits for too long, but at a minimum, I think it is something we should all get a chance to experience.
The resolution is nowhere near what it needs to be to replace your desktop monitor, and you will notice the screendoor effect when you first put it on (it fades when running an experience), but if your aspirations amount to a unique gaming experience, this is the one for you.

This headset replaced my G930 that cracked after years of use. They have a good wireless range, are clear, work well for gaming, and music, but I use it primarily as a business communication device.
The ability to be able to mute, just by flipping the mic up halfway is a godsend, as when I'm in conference calls, I need to rapidly, and often, switch in and out of mute.
Overall, I would state this rates at about 4.5 stars. The reason being is because the software noise cancellation is horrific. It cuts in and out all the time on the voice with this enabled. Once you disable it, this issue stops.
Great product, very sturdy, but the fit is relatively tight, so some may find it uncomfortable with prolonged use.

This device gives you peace of mind, and that makes it worth the price paid. With an alarm system that detects motion, web and mobile apps to view in near real time, and the free recording to the cloud, so intruders cannot remove your stored videos, this makes for an excellent way to protect your home, without paying a certain company $30 per month to do so...
The scheduling system is pretty good, but could use some work. Trying to schedule from a certain PM time to an AM time is a pain in the rear.
With everything good, there is also bad...
1. Speaking to the device from your phone will not be heard on the other end, unless you are extremely loud.
2. There is no possibility for storing locally.
3. There is a slight delay on everything, and that includes recording. If someone ran past it, they may trip the alarm, but probably won't be recorded. (that's why you have 4?)
4. The night vision falls in the category of "OK." If you want to really see in the dark, I suggest an IR flood lamp.

After many years of holding out with my GTX 770, I was finally convinced I needed a new video card. With prices ranging from $699+, it seemed like maybe it was time to lay down the whole enchilada - It had a 1080 that was actually available, and for the price of two 1080s, you can have an all new, decent PC.
With many gigabytes of games (~200 AAA titles I never have time to play), I was a bit concerned about the secondary drive not being SSD. This turned out to be a non-issue. The secondary drive was fast enough where loading times seemed better than normal (no complaints). The primary drive being SSD gave me quick loading times for Windows, and I suspect the system caching was greatly sped up by this. You are getting a Toshiba DT01ACA200 for your secondary drive, and a SanDisk SD8BAT256G1122 for your primary. Both perform well, but I will note I had to completely reformat the secondary drive due to consistant errors. It seems fine now, but if it consistently errors in the future, I will replace it.
32GB of RAM is more than ANYONE will EVER use gaming (unless you plan on firing up 4 AAA titles), but was nice to have, as you could fire up virtual machines, etc., with plenty of memory left to play with. I would say it is a safe bet that the ram is ADATA XPG DDR4 1066 RAM (Reports "unknown" manufacturer).
The processor is more than capable, and keeps up nicely with the video card, while remaining cool (thanks to the liquid cooling).
I fire up most of my games 2160p, and this thing fires up no problem, and burns through them without any indication of throttling. I max every one of the latest game settings, and really don't even notice much of a difference as far as performance is concerned. Of course you're not going to get that holy grail of 60fps on every title at 2160p, but I'd call them more than playable.
The box sits under my desk, and I do not notice any noise from it.
You are getting an MSI Z170A PC-Mate motherboard, and if you are planning on doing dual 1080s (SLI), forget about it with this motherboard. This is XFire compatible only (ironically). This motherboard is paired with an MSI 1080 GTX Armor OC, but don't let the OC fool you... Comparative specs shows you the OC is embarrassingly minimal.
The lights are super bright, and you can change the color with a button hidden under the top, so if you're really into the "neat-o mosquito" light show like my 12 year old daughter, then there you have it. The case is minimalist in that you aren't going to be throwing any drives in the front slots (because there are none) - so your internal Blu-Ray is going to be getting the cold shoulder with this case. For more info, look up "Phanteks Eclipse." Other than that, it's spacious, neatly organized, and designed for cooling.
Keyboard and mouse went out the window for my G15 and Sentey mouse, but they looked cool in the package?
Overall, could you build your own PC for less (or even this identical PC)? Of course, but if you have the money, want your warranty from one location, and don't have the time to mess with it, for the price on a pre-built, this really can't be beat.

Out of the box, this thing is painfully slow. $500 can buy you a lot more PC, but I needed a Mac for testing, and this was as cheap as it gets. The 5400RPM drive it comes with is an absolute pig (the upgraded model has a standard HD as well, I believe). So, I picked up a 500GB SSD, replaced it, and it is much more responsive (do your homework first - you need special tools).
If you must have an Apple, and don't want to pay a huge premium, this is the device for you. If you're looking for a decent PC out of the box, but don't want to pay a fortune, maybe the best bet would be to stay away from Apple.

The stereo is excellent, but Android auto definitely needs work. Not everything can be voice controlled, there are minor bugs in the system (like occasionally not resuming music after a call - or even being able to resume - or sometimes not being able to steering wheel control forward and backwards for no reason).
I'd lay the blame on all of that on Google.
The actual stereo itself is excellent... Google is holding it back.

So far, I can say nothing bad about this printer. At times it does need to wait for ink to dry, and that seems to take forever, but for the most part, if you want an e-printer that's versatile and can do everything from printing to emailing to copying right from the printer itself, you can't go wrong with this. I had seen others mention the blacks don't "pop" as much as other printers, and I can attest to that. That really didn't matter that much to me, however. I looked online and purchased the addon tray for $35, so it's all decked out!

How long is the cord?
Plenty long - I don't know how long exactly (6 feet?), but enough to reach from your PC to head, no problem. Any more, and you'd probably want to just go wireless...

How much memory do I need?
If you are going to use it for general use (web, videos, etc), 4GB should be fine. If you are going to get into more intense programs (Photoshop, Visual Studio, Virtual Machines, etc), you are going to want to go with 8.

Is the surface able to run programs such as autocad?
Sure (the pro versions), but I'd go with the I7 if you are going to be running intense programs. I5 might do fine for you as well, and you should be aware that under stress, the I7 version does get pretty warm.
