I had the X1000 model from 2013 which was a great product but did not have wi-fi capabilities (it had an ethernet port to accomodate networking) or dual zones. The X1100W has both now.. Since my living room is not wired with CAT5 I really was looking for the wi-fi option. While this is an old protocol they are using it gave me that functionality and is great.
Pros:
- Great value for the sound quality and output
- Dual Zone capability (runs my living room and master bedroom on separate channels - HUGE for me)
- Wi-Fi connectivity allows easy connectivity to the home network (another HUGE issue for me personally)
- Plenty of HDMI ports (6) for BluRay, cable box, etc.
Cons:
- Denon App to use your phone with this over WiFi absolutely SUCKS. Nearly unusable, slow, glitchy but you can get it to work most of the time, sometimes have to reboot the receiver and/or my phone
- WiFi is a slower and older protocol
I would recommend this to a friend!

Purchased these for an international flight over the Christmas holidays. Very much enjoyed using them, here are my pros and cons:
Pros:
- Noise cancelling is fantastic - just amazing, the best feature of this headset
- Sound is good, bass is solid
Cons:
- Little pricey, but the adage "you get what you pay for" is true here
- Big ear cans can make it hard to sleep if you lie your head to the side
I would recommend this to a friend!

FM signal

is there a FM receiver built into this?
Nope. Typically your phone will have one but the FM feature only works with a wired headset, you can't use this headset with it (depends on your phone though).
