it works fine but takes some fiddling to get it to snug the soundbar up to the bottom of the tv. Have had it 6 months and I am pleased.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Took about 30 minutes to install this - solid as a rock as long as you put it in a stud -- the way the arm swivels is really good -- nice and firm but with limitless possibilities for repointing the television. Templates make it very handy and instructions are good.
I would recommend this to a friend!

the sound bar has separated from the tv about six inches.How do I snug it back up?

had the same problem - get it where you want it and tighten the heck out of the bolts at the elbow joints

Dimensions of wall mount for VMF-518

What are the dimensions of the VMF-518 Full-Motion Wall Mount's wall bracket? I have a small spot on a wall to attach the mount so I need to know the dimensions of the back of the mount that attachs through the wall to the stud as opposed to the total dimensions of the bracket.

Does this mount have the ability to connect sound bars?

you have to buy an additional bracket for that. I did and it works pretty well -- sound bar is attached but not a totally snug fit up to the tv -- I have been happy -- best buy sells the bracket as well
