I'm a tech guy and work in IT. I've had a lot of routers. I've spent money on expensive networking appliances. This mesh system is the easiest and most reliable wi-fi system I've ever used. More than enough speed, great range and covers the whole house. I still use my Netgear X10 for port aggregation, VPN, etc, but use the Eero as Access Points and tuned the Wi-Fi off on the Netgear. Best decision ever... and money well spent. I don't think about my wi-fi anymore... it just works.

In my opinion, the 1050 TI is the best value for what you get in a video card. Great performance on many games. Consistently getting 60fps or better on all my games. It is the perfect balance of price and power! Highly recommend.

This phone was too beautiful to pass up. Gorgeous design and display. Functionality is good too. Not a big fan of Samsung's TouchWiz, but it's better than it has been in years past. I hope the performance holds up over time. Battery is good for my usage. I can see how it might be a tad disappointing for heavy users. Overall, a spectacular device, and most likely the best Android device out there right now.

This phone looks amazing. The screen is like no other. It feels great in the hand and has a lot of nice features like wireless and fast charging. However, looks aren't everything. The phone still comes with a lot of bloatware. Samsung TouchWiz is still subpar. Battery and app management are still terrible. I can get 3 days of battery life out of my iPhone 7+ (yes I'm a light user), but with the S8+ I was getting about half that. Android is still buggy and after just a few days of playing around with battery saving options, my battery life got a lot worse. Had to reset the phone to get it back to normal. This is a great phone and there's a lot to like about the freedom of Android, however, many of us just want hardware and software that works well together, great app and battery management, and consistent updates to keep things running smoothly. To each his/her own, but for me, the Samsung Galaxy s8+ wasn't worth it.

I'll start off by saying that this router is very good. I've recently cut the cable cord and there is a lot more streaming going on now in my household. This router has solved my issues with buffering when there are multiple streams going. Range is good, speeds are good, I like the link aggregation and use it for my NAS.
The problem is, that this router is not worth $500. It's powerful processor and RAM has solved my issues. However, the user interface is limited and lacking a lot of features for a premium router. There is a bug in the firmware that makes Nest Cam's disconnect frequently, and while Netgear says they are aware of it, no fix as of yet. The optical port and 802.11ad are practically useless since there aren't a lot of applications for this in a standard home environment.
I don't want to come down too hard on this router, because it is great and helped me out, but I probably could have spent half of this to achieve the same results. I can't blame Netgear for ME spending that much money, it was my decision, but I think this router is overpriced.
If you are like me and like having the latest and greatest, go for it, you won't be disappointed by it's performance, but you may experience a little buyers remorse when you see you bank account. I do not recommend this for the average user.

2-Year Standard Geek Squad Protection

I recently cut the cable cord and wanted to invest in a streaming device. I have a FireTV but wanted something more future proof, with HDR. The Shield is a good device, you can tell there is a lot of power behind it. All apps have nice interfaces and the device is responsive and quick. The remote is similar to the FireTV and works well. The game controller feels nice too. Overall this is a nice device with some extra features like HDR and the ability to stream games.
The reason I only gave this 4 starts is because there is no native resolution mode. Everything from the Shield is outputted in 4K. You can change the resolution to 1080p but then you can't watch 4K. The upscaler seems to need a bit of work and 1080p content upscaled to 4K looks a little blurry and colors are a little washed out. Not a total deal breaker, but a native resolution mode would be nice.

This TV is truly amazing. Yes it is expensive. I happened to get it while it was on sale but it still puts a large dent in your wallet. If you are a freak about picture quality, like to watch a lot of movies, and have the money, this is the TV you should seriously consider. OLED technology allows for sharper contrasts and a clearer picture. Even my satellite programming looks better (even though it's highly compressed.) But you really should by this TV is you are a movie buff. Get yourself a 4K Blu Ray player and you will never want to go to a theater again. I spent all weekend watching movies on this beast and I couldn't have been more impressed. There are a lot of great features on this TV and if you are a PQ nut like me, there are tons of expert settings for adjusting the picture. I have a FireTV that I use for all of my streaming, however, in playing with the WebOS smart features, they are fast and smooth. The Magic Remote is nice and responsive.
I highly recommend this TV is you can afford it. I just hope it holds up for a while. Hands down the best TV I've ever owned.

I understand fully that I bought a budget TV and was fully prepared to have a TV where the features and picture were not quite as good as my $2000 Samsung TV. However, after reading the reviews raving about this TV, I decided to take the plunge and get this TV for my bedroom. I was disappointed from the moment I turned it on. PQ is really bad. I calibrated it using suggestions from others but the best that I could get it was not very good. If there was any movement on the screen, there would be dark vertical stripes across the screen and also other random dark spots. It was very distracting and made my viewing experience not very good. I think I am just too picky about PQ. I don't want to say this TV is garbage, especially with so many good reviews, but it just wasn't for me.

We had a warm day here in the middle of winter in NY and I finally had the chance to fly my drone. What a fantastic machine. It is very easy to fly and was a lot of fun. The drone seems durable and the camera is great. The app is intuitive and overall this is just a really fun drone. I can't compare it to other drones but I am very impressed. I like the beginner mode while I was learning, it helps keep the aircraft lower to the ground and doesn't let it get too far away from you. I wish the battery life was longer but if you buy an extra one, you are probably going to be able to enjoy 30-45 minutes of flights time. Not bad. When the weather warms up I'll be able to explore the other functions and really put it through it's paces.
One thing to note. Before you buy this drone, check with your local laws and also download the FAA app to see where you can and can't fly.

I started with the Harmony 650 and 700 models and moved up to the Elite to expand my home automation. While not perfect, this is a nice remote control. Sometimes the remote is a little laggy and the screen responsiveness needs a little bit of work. Also, when using with the DirecTV DVR, the commands are delayed and I often will fly by the program when fast forwarding commercials. Setting up routines is nice on the app although sometimes the app is slow. The Alexa integration is nice, being able to turn on and off the TV and launch routines using voice. The performance isn't as great as the lower end models but the features this one has over those makes up for it. Hopefully continued updates will keep improving this product.

How durable is the glass in the Samsung S8 phones? Is a screen protector necessary or are people just accustomed to adding them on the purchase.
The glass is fragile. The entire device is made of glass. It is highly recommended to get both a case and screen protector.
