got this 2 weeks ago for my galaxy note edge. ive been recording videos using my note edge in uhd resolution thats why i needed alot of storage on my phone. 128gb is a lot of storage even though ive been shooting alot of 4k video with my phone, the card still has so much left to fill!if you have the latest gen smartphone which capable of recording video in 4k, get this card and you can thank me later. its not super fast card, but even for the most advance smartphone on the market today it is more than enough. the build quality and performance doesnt dissapoint.

ive been using it for almost 10 days now, ive exchange the sony with this one just because i just couldnt live with the sonys design and UI. the picture is great the color even thoo isnt 100percent true but still pleasing to my eye especially in 4k. im always shooting in 4k with flat color and protune on with some tweak on the settings regarding of what im shooting. the build quality is good without the protective case, but i just wish for the next gen they would buid them using aluminium body or something to make it more durable when used without the protective case. i shoot alot without the protective case because it would only fit on my handheld gimbal feiyu g4 without it. the battery life is not the best even worse when you attach the lcd backpack to it, my suggestion is get some extra batteries and charger especially if you are planning on taking your gopro on a vacation! overall the best 4k action cam out there hands down!

got two of these and pretty happy with the quality! i use them alot as the spare batteries when im shooting outdoor. i dont know about the durability yet, but so far the batteries has zero issues and would hold charges perfectly fine. the different between this battery with the original gopro ones is the shape. it slightly more squareish but it fit perfect in the battery compartment inside of the gopro.

love the touchscreen function and it helps me alot in framing when recording videos. the build quality is pretty solid and it seem gonna last long time, but let time tells. besides it drain the battery of my gopro hero 4 black faster, i have no complaint whatsoever so far. it comes with little plastic case just for the lcd screen and i 3 backdoors. if you are goin to get this, make sure you get some extra battery too!

really awesome 4k video quality for such a small video camera like this, the picture quality is top notch the color is almost true, and "IN MY OPINION", the detail and clarity of the video are noticeable better than the gopro hero4 black (ive compared their both videos side by side). thats might have something to do with the high bitrate recording mode that this camera capable of (100mbps) Unlike gopro which i believe only capable of recording in 60mbps in 4k resolution. make sure you get class 10 uhs3 micro sd card with atleast 64gb space if you are planning to shoot video in full 4k resolution otherwise it might just not gonna work. one thing that i dont really like from the camera is the design! but overall, its a great action cam!

Really Fast Card, If You Are planning shooting video in 4k, especially with really high bitrate recording 50mbps and up, this card is the way to go.ive tested it on sony 4k action cam and it worked superb! but if you are using gopro hero4 black or silver to record 4k video, the extreme edition should be more than enough! any card actually is fine as long as they are class 10 and uhs 3 for high bitrate recording and class 10 uhs 1 for under 60mbps bitrate recording. hope this review helps!happy shooting guys, and bestbuy is the place to go for all your technology desire!

Will this work with a GoPro?
gopro only support up to 64gb class 10 uhs 1 or 3 micro sd card. even the latest gopro hero 4 black doesnt support more than 64gb. as weird as it is, my galaxy note edge does support up to 128gb high speed micro sd.

Note 2 Compatability
I was wondering is this compatabile with a note 2
i dont think so, the note4 only support up to 64gb of micro sd.besides, with larger micro sd card, your phone performace will reduced when the card started to filled up or when you have alot of pictures or videos on it. for note 2 32gb should be more than you need but thats depending what are you are goin to use your phone for.

it doesnt come with wall charger, only the usb cable.

can you use any protective housing when you use the touch screen
the lcd backpack comes with 3 backdoors. iam pretty sure all you need to do with any housing is just to replace their backdoor with one that comes in the lcd backpack box depending of where are you goin to use your gopro. hope this help

Battery Life
Say if you were recording under same settings, how much will the lcd touch BacPac set you back in comparison to not having it on?
you can save little bit energy by setting up the lcd to automatically go to sleep after few minutes of recording. that way you can preserve little extra juice to keep on shooting. but this lcd pretty much will drain the battery sooner regarding of any setting that you are planning to use, even worse if you are shooting in full resolution aka 4k. hope this help

Can I use the LCD touch screen in cold weather?
you can, ive tried it. but i dont know about below zero temperature. just like any other electronics that uses batteries, the batteries pretty much will run out faster in a cold temperature especially this lcd backpack suckup power from the gopro battery. hope this help
