What's great about it: capacity for size
What's not so great: Heard some bad reviews but bought two anyway
Some folks complained about this drive, but I liked the first one and purchased the second, for system backups and for photo and music collection. Comes with a pretty decent backup program on it too. Another reason for two is that I don't trust my backups to a single mechanical device of any kind, and have too much data to burn even DVD size for backup

What's great about it: This is a very powerful, high capacity workhorse
What's not so great: A bit on the heavy side, came with Windows 8 ;>(
This is our third Asus laptop and is one honkin' machine. With my 42 years of IT work, and wife starting and owning a tech company we've seen quite a variety of machines. The Asus machines are solid quality systems. We've not had any problems we didn't cause ourselves. Bought this one because I spilled a Coke in the last one. Thought it was dead, but it revived and survived. I had already purchased the latest. Trying to be open minded about Win 8 though. Considered installing Win 7 in a dual boot system. This machine could handle that easily. Especially nice feature is the second drive bay for more capacity, could easily become two terabyte of onboard storage. Processor is lightning fast.
This product is... Good sound quality, A touch pad that works great, Perfect for Business, Big screen size, easy to set up, bulky, lightning fast, fair price for the capacity and quality

What's great about it: BEST BUY took good care of me and took it back
What's not so great: Out of the box, Printer has a major flaw
On our all -wireless network, printer goes to power-save mode and drops off network entirely. Won't come back until totally unplugged and powered on again which picks up IP address again. Firmware update did not fix the problem. This appears to be a pretty common problem that HP will not acknowledge and is not fixing. They refused refund, would only offer a reconditioned machine if I would ship it back. But Best Buy took the return for full refund. Kudos to our Best Buy folks.

Order online and have them ship it. Very little risk with Best Buy, and I think you'll like it.

Printing only with black ink
If I print with Black ink cartridge only with color cartridges empty will the printer function properly and print true black plus all other range of grays? Can this be done for extended time? Want to be able to take advantage of doc feed and duplex printing not offered on black only printers.
Set your printer defaults in Windows to print in B & W. Then leave non-empty color carts installed. I don't think it will print if it thinks color is empty.
