THE Logitech - M570 Wireless Trackball Mouse - Gray/Blue IS THE ONLY TRACKBALL MOUSE THAT I WILL USE. I HAVE THIS TRACKBALL MOUSE ON 5 COMPUTERS BOTH AT HOME AND IN MY BUSINESS. THIS IS GREAT FOR AUTOCAD AND OTHER GRAPHICS PROGRAMS ALONG WITH OFFICE APPLICATIONS AND QUICKBOOKS. VERY HAPPY WITH LOGITECH PRODUCTS. THESE ARE USED WITH LOGITECH WIRELESS KEYBOARDS.

How far does the receiver stick out? The one my boss has now is all torn up because of how far it sticks out.
