What's great about it: Easy to set up. Great picture

What's not so great: Sound synching issues. Annoying

This is a great set for the price. Most of the featured are easy to set up. It has issues with the voice getting out of synch with the picture. If you change channel and the go back it seems to fix the problem. Will do more research on this issue

How many channels output from optical out?

I seem to recall reading that the optical out was restricted to 2.1, and will not do 5.1 or 7.1 surround, is that true?

We have a Bose 2 speaker system hooked to it so I don't really know
