Have used a number of these without problems. Happy to find them frequently on sale at good prices given the number of them that I have needed.
I would recommend this to a friend!

miss optional on/off, volume control on TV; complicated hook up if have DVD player and VCR player - needed to have HDMI for DVD player (still need to hook up that part but procrastinating because a little nervous) - hook-up instructions not very complete; had to search on line at a question and answer site; took lots of time - might have been an easier place to find it but couldn't locate by simple search.
Had first gone to what I hoped was the Insignia website to search; got a live chat which asked for details then transferred to a technician but first would have had to complete a form with personal information including a credit card number to pay for a "$5 refundable fee". I do not give out that information unless I know FOR SURE who is asking for it. I had no way of knowing if this was even a real website for this company. no help -
Long pauses when first turned on and with channel changes and don't know if normal or if something off on the settings or because of cable provider for HD. Have not figured that out; somewhat nervous about trying as it might mess it up more.
The picture is fine; the sound is fine and it is still working after three weeks so that is a good sign.
I will answer that I would recommend it but I really feel non-committal; buyers should make their own decisions based on their needs and research; my issues may be because I don't have sufficient technical skills and learn by perseverance.which can be a slow process.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Will this flash drive work taking the pictures from my old Mac to my new Mac?

I use them to transfer from IMAC (2005 model upgraded to Mountain Lion) to MAC PRO (2012 up graded to Sierra) with no issues, using PSD, JPG, and TIF. Also have used to transfer to external hard drive (backups) without issue. I have been using them for about three years - maybe more but not sure - and have had no problems.
I have given them to friends with Microsoft and the photos work fine with JPG and TIF but not PSD which would require that they have Photoshop - not caused by the flash drive.
