Great TV for the money and with the purchase of the extended warranty, they gave me a free 42" LG Led TV, couldn't have asked for more. The picture and sound are both great.

Portrait View
Can I turn the mount 90* so that the TV is in Portrait view instead of landscape view? And if so, can it be done easily on the fly, or does it require using tools to tighten/loosen parts.
The only way I could see that you could do that is to mount it sideways so that it is in portrait view all of the time.

Does this mount work on a Samsung 37" LCD flat panel?
I have read that this mount doesn't work on the 40" Samsung LCD flat panel and want to be sure it works on the 37" before purchasing. Thanks.
Check the Vesa patterns for your TV. On the web site it says

My tv swings out the wrong way, is the mount upside down or is there an adjustment to this?
It should swing both ways. There are screws to lock it in a certain position, but I have no problem swinging mine either way. There's a screw that locks the frame to the swivel unit and that screw goes in from the back and on the bottom. And when you put the TV on you hang it from the top and then put that screw in, so I don't see how it could be upside down or if it would even matter. I would check the screws in back and loosen some to get it to move and once you get it where you want it re-tightened them.

Can I use this mount for mounting in a corner?
Depends on the size of the TV and if you can mount it far enough away from the corner and still find a wall stud. It will extend to 10" away from the wall. You would have to put it together and see if you could mount it and achieve your desired look.

The Samsung LED 40 inch I bought says it has a VESA pattern 400x400 will it work?
On the box it says Vesa Patterns up to 400 x 375, so I would say no. But it seems very adaptable, but I'm just saying what they say on the box.

What angle is possible with a 40" tv? 45 degrees?
On an open wall, not in the corner, I think it will. It tilts up and down by 11 degrees and 10 inches away from the wall, so it should.
