Sadly enough this machine is super load and makes this high pitch screeching noice on spin cycle. I have it leveled and on a pedal stool and it was calibrated when installed. Samsung products have gone down hill over the last 4 years. Even the logo on my machine is sideways. That shows me how the craftsmanship on the assembly line cares to check quality. Do not buy Samsung. Bad!!! I will be exchanging this weekend.

I purchased this front loader washing machine model after my 6 year old Samsung front loader model Wf419AAW/XAA 03 was on a spin cycle and began smoking and then caught on fire. I also had rocks build up in the filter which we later found out were parts of the drumb falling apart.
I thought to myself well at least I got six years out of my old model I would give the exact new model of my old one a chance. WRONG! This machine is so loud. It sounds just like my six year old machine. I would have thought that it would be quiet six years later. And yes my machine is on a pedastal and leveled on tile flooring. Also the water comes out from around rubber gauges around the frame. I see this as a huge mold scare later as my old model did not have the water come out from the front like this and I did not have to worry about water build up. Also the tray that pulls out to put the detergent in is very flimsy and I can see this breaking if some bumps into it or shuts to hard. Samsung just is not making appliances like they use to. Parts are plastic and for the price you pay you can get so much more in other brands. I exchanged this for a front loader LG and I am so happy now. STAY AWAY FROM SAMSUNG.

What's great about it: Small box that can fit anywhere
What's not so great: Not so easy to navigate sometimes
Gift from my wife for my birthday. We cancelled our cable and replaced it with this. Once we got use to it we navigate it really easily, but at first takes a bit of getting use to. Has a lot of options. Great for the price.

Will the Samsung pedestal WE357A7W work with this washer?
I was told it would but when my washing machine got deliver it was apparent that it won’t. So the answer is NO it will not work as the bottom of this washing machine has a part that sticks out at the bottom and needs more room than this pedestal has. You have to get the new pedestals. Samsung is making money that way by making you get a new pedestal for the new models.
