What's great about it: All you need is a USB slot.
When I bought my digital camera a couple years back, all of the memory cards, seemed to be the same size. My desktop computer doesn't happen to have slots for these cards so I had to download from the camera with a USB connector which is a pain in the buttocks.
This device makes downloading camera data a piece of cake.

What's great about it: Easy to make a good connection
I have a Maremma/Border Collie Mix named Tucker whose been neurotically anxious since his Yellow Lab buddy died. Tucker is smarter than the average dog. He taught himself to open doors. One day when my wife and I were on a date, he let himself into the garage only to find that he can't reach the door handle to let himself back into the house while standing on the steps in the garage. That was very upsetting for him so he felt like chewing stuff. He opened the 3 of the doors to my wife's car and left them standing wide open; the 4th door was ajar. He did $1000 damage to the interior. He also chewed up the electric eye safety device on my garage door and other things including the Comcast cable that connects to my TV and internet and phone. I had to splice the cable back together. That is why I bought the Rocketfish cable couplers. The couplers were easy to deploy and my signal is as strong now as it ever was.

What's great about it: Unbelievably quiet
What's not so great: lowest price I could find
I guess you have to pay for quality. I would like to have spent less, but this LG is the best dishwasher I have ever owned. Quiet. If I'm making a sandwich in the kitchen, I don't even notice that it is running. I have noticed that the light is on and walked over to stand near it so I could listen to the sound of it running. I could barely hear it.
Someone also put some thought into designing the rack. Easy to load in a way that will obviously improve the efficiency of cleaning the dishes.
I had it installed and the installation crew was really good at switching out the old machine with a new one. I saved so much on the price compared to others of similar quality at different stores that I more or less got the installation for free. I have always done it myself in the past. I was nice to let someone else take care of it.
This product is... Convenient for time-delay, Good for delicate dishes, Great for pots & pans, So quiet I can?'t hear, Designed to save time and water, Well-matched to my appliances, Easy to load adjustable racks, Useful settings or cycles, Able to deliver spotless dishes, Great at drying dishes
About me... Looking for energy savings, occasional user, Design conscious

Some times when i have downloaded the pictures on the computer and insert the card back into the camera the pictures are no longer on the card

Some times when i have downloaded the pictures on the computer and insert the card back into my camera the pictures are no longer on the card; we want the pictures to stay on the card. Is there any way to get them back on the card?
You can download information from your computer to the memory card. Drag the folder containing your photos to the USB drive. Then before removing the memory card to see if the photos are there, right click on the USB drive and select "Eject". Now you can safely disconnect the card reader from the computer without corrupting your photos.

How long is the Lg warrenty

I have loved the LG brand but it's pricey. How long s the manufacturers warrenty. AND is it made in USA?
It's made in South Korea and it is pricey. However, I love mine. It is unbelievably quiet and I appreciate that. I have a sound studio in the basement of my home and loud appliances are not just annoying.

This machine is also brilliantly laid out. Somebody put considerable thought into making sure it would be easy to stack dirty dishes in such a way that they would be cleaned easily and thoroughly... and be easy to handle when you are putting them away.

Computer not recognizing reader

We just bought this new reader. We plugged it in trying both ports on the computer but neither one of them recognized it. What should we do?
It won't recognize the reader. It recognizes data. Connect the reader to a USB port while looking at a list of your drives. Then slide the memory card into the card reader. You will see a new listing among your drives but it won't say Dynex Memory Card reader. It will just be a bunch of random numbers and letters. Click on that.

Reader will not eject my card !

My card reader will not eject my card, is it safe to pull the card out?
The card has to be physically removed, but before removing the card, you have to virtually eject the card.

Go to the folder or drive that contains your photos or other data and right click on it. You should see an option "Eject". If you select that option, it digitally disconnects from the data, even though the card is still physically connected to the computer.

Using the "Eject" option like this prevents the data on your card from becoming corrupted when you physically pull the card out of the reader.

I just put in the DX-CR212 card reader and it will not come up on my IMac

I used the card reader with my IMac, too. I had a little trouble finding it because I was looking for something that said Dynex or memory card or something like that.

Bring up a list of your drives. Then plug the card reader into a USB port. Nothing will happen. Then slide a memory card into the reader. The computer will then list that the card is present and the information on the card is available to you.

It still won't say Dynex card reader or anything like that. It will look like a drive named with some random letters and numbers. Click on that and it's easy from that point.
