The XP-440 wireless was inexpensive and easy to set up. My wife was able to set it up for wireless printing from iPhone and iPad with only minimal telephone assistance from me. The menus are logical and easy to follow. The printing is clean and reasonably fast.
This little guy does not have a proper paper tray - instead it has slanted slot at the back like a fax original feeder. The paper feed looks hokey, but it works.

I found this little bag on sale at BB. It is the right size to hold a small camcorder, a charger and 3 batteries. The velcro anchored dividers can be placed crosswise, but not lengthwise.

This simple mount is easy to install and works well. Installers should pay attention to two design quirks: First, the slots for lag bolts cannot accommodate a stud centered behind the mount (without drilling the bracket); for this reason, the plate may need to be placed off center with the TV shifted the opposite direction (not a big deal if the TV is large enough to cover the bracket plus the offset). Second, the tv arms are very easy to snap onto the plate, but require 4 hands to release - 2 hands to hold the tv and 2 hands to pull 2 release tethers simultaneously.

The Nighthawk X8 was easy to set up and provided strong signal throughout our large house. The faster router exposed the Cox cable modem as a bottleneck restricting downloads to about 35 Mbps. Once the cable modem was replaced, downloads hit 100 Mbps for a single test device.
The Netgear software is adequate, but could use more polish.

I installed the app on IOS and had the camera running in five minutes. Defining video trigger zones is straightforward, and email alerts arrive seamlessly. The new pricing scheme for 10 days cloud video storage is fair, but not cheap. Most non-techie types should be able to install the camera and app without any fuss.
I do not use the automatic home/away feature based on smartphone presence.

Can this camera be routed to a NAS hard drive instead of the Cloud?
I am not interest in paying for cloud storage. I currently have a ip camera using the SD card and also a 1TB NAS drive in a secure location. I am trying to upgrade video quality with a new camera.
It might be possible, but there is no turnkey software for this camera. (Several other HD netcams have easy local or NAS storage setup).

How much bandwidth is required?
I live in a rural area and only get 2mbps. This is fine for Netflix HD and 3 or 4 devices, but will it support the camera at 780 p?
Netflix depends primarily on your download speed. The Nest Cam will be limited by your upload speed. 2 Mbps upload speed may be limiting. Go to speedtest.net to check your upload and download speeds.

If I get three or four cameras, do I need multiple cloud accounts?
You can use one account with multiple cams, but it will cost more.

Light tripod for Lumix (Panasonic) camera
I would like to know if there is a tripod compatible with my Lumix (Panasonic) camera. It is very important that it be very light.
This tripod is suitable for small digital cameras. It is light abs will fit in a jacket pocket.
