I used this to replace a server with a suddenly dead hard drive. Installation went smoothly. GBE worked perfectly. Once the accounts were set up I was able to restore my files easily. I can access them remotely and can map the drive with no problem. It is an appliance so works is better than flash features as far as I am concerned. One little inconvenience. With my server, Linux based, I could map to both of the computers I use regularly, with the same credentials. This drive does not allow it. Looking into a missed option or a work around. Simplest seems to be to create a second ID for the second computer. In all I am quite pleased and would recommend it to others. Side benefit , power consumption is a tiny fraction of its predecesso.

What's great about it: Easy to install, looks good and works as it should

What's not so great: Nothing

Had my PS4 stacked under the PS3. On hot days the fan really roared. Bought the stand and stood the PS4 up next to the PS3. Fan runs a lot less and more quietly. The stand was just thing toi address the ventilation problem I had. It clips easily in, and is a firm connection when put in place. PS4 is stable in the upright position. Not much more to say, looks good, does what it is supposed to and installs easily.

I would recommend this to a friend!

Will this My Cloud drive work with a second My Cloud drive on the same LAN

It should, as long as the drives have different ip addresses and different ids. Most routers allow assignment of the ip address based on the mac. By design the mac is unique to each drive. Should be able to install easily.
