I originally bought the 3TB size and then exchanged it for the 4TB size.
At the time they were all on sale and it was a small amount ($20-40) for the extra TB.
I have installed the new 4TB drive into my Late 2009 iMac (swapping out the original 1TB drive).
This drive appears to be compatible with the Apple HD Heat sensor cable that was connected to the Apple installed drive (I didn't use the adapter kit that I purchased from OWC).
I followed the instructions from several sources (OWC, iFixit, YouTube - just make sure that you are seeing directions for your iMac model as the internal layout and screw locations vary).
After the upgrade, I went from being over 90℅ full to being less than 25℅ full.
I have been running this for a few weeks now. I am not getting any errors. I am able to run latest (Developer Preview) Mac OS. Tremendous improvement in speed and performance due to increased capacity of the HD drive.

I bought this because I lost my original USB cable that came with my device. I needed to be able to access the HD drive that I removed from my iMac in order to restore my data onto my installed 4TB HD drive. I had a device to do it, but no longer had the supplied cable.
This cable worked flawlessly.

This is a Desktop (3.5") size SATA HDD (SSHD or SSD).
Any recently purchased make/model Desktop computer should work fine.
If you have a Laptop, then you usually require a Laptop (2.5") size SATA HDD (SSHD or SSD).
However, some ultralights and Chromebooks use a different kind of storage device (eMMC Flash Memory).
A lot of devices with eMMC Flash Memory are NOT upgradeable, depending upon how it is attached (soldered or socket).
Apparently some of these devices have hardware and/or firmware that limits the storage size supported.
Any recently purchased make/model Desktop computer should work fine.

I have a Dell XPS 8700 which I bought from Best Buy and I was wondering if this hard drive would work on my computer. I am looking to add more storage.

Does this work well with Ps3??
Yes, this product is specifically designed for both the PS3 and the PS4.
If you pull up the image of the box, and pinch to zoom you can see that the Left-Side label specifically States:
"Compatible with PS3 and PS4" in English and French.
(You may have to scroll down the image, as that statement is written in the middle of the Left-Side panel).
But I agree that the manufacturer really should have put this information prominently on the front of the box.
Especially since PS3 & PS4 is identical in most Languages (Go Figure)!

Can you transfer your data from the old game drive to new one
I have seen online guides for upgrading the PS4 HD drive and the instructions are to back up your game data to an external drive via single USB port on the PS4. Make sure that you have a large enough capacity external drive to accommodate the space used on the current drive (could be as high as 500GB).

Is there one that 2tb for ps4?? Internal
Currently I didn't find anything larger on Best Buy site specifically labeled for the PS4.
However, various online guides recommend any 2.5 inch (Laptop size).
But there MAY be a hardware limitation on capacity beyond 2TB.

NO NEVER! Sorry! This is a project that I am currently researching.
All of the directions I have seen online are quite specific that you need a 2.5 inch (Laptop size) drive.
I have seen a DIY Kit bundle with tools, directions and a 2TB capacity drive.
And Best Buy sells an SSHD solution:

You need to decide if you are planning on installing the drive to increase the capacity cheaply;

I have also thought that if you want to move the PS4 frequently, or perhaps you have small children who might pick up the PS4 and drop (or shake it exuberantly) then you might want to spend the money to buy an SSD for durability.
