Finally found an easy to set up non-Apple router. Using this in an office environment with FIOS - had Verizon supply a modem but no router. Much better solution. Fast with good range - highly recommend.

Worked as advertised for about 10 days. Then stopped. No lights, no Bluetooth etc. rather than getting sucked into a vicious cycle of resets I returned it.

The only real value is counting steps (which the iPhone can do) and tracking your sleep patterns. The sleep measurement is good but less than perfect.

For what it's worth I liked the app!

No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

We have had a Harmony 1 for a number of years. While it gets the job done, you constantly need to use the help button.

The Smart Control is a vast improvement. It was easy to set up, and consistently powers up l devices in the group. The remote is an ideal size, and is intuitive. The app is a plus.

The only complaint is the lack of backlighting on the remote, that would make this best in class.

I would recommend this to a friend!

Connection

Is this device controlled via Bluetooth or is wireless needed? Is IR sensor included?

The hub controls both Bluetooth and IR. Check the website and make sure your device is compatible. An IR blaster is included. There is a port for a (seperately purchased) IR blaster.
