Does this work in apartments without an exhaustion hose? Come with a drip pan for excess moisture? Will the product need cleaned regularly or require professional maintenance?
It is fine in a closed room. You would want to clean it like a humidifier. I wipe our water reservoir out with a cloth dipped in vinegar to kill bacteria. Once it dries, the vinegar smell goes away. The water drips back down to the water reservoir so there is no need for a drip pan.

Does this plug into regular 110 wall outlet, if not what does it require? Does it have an automatic shut off if it runs out of water?
It uses a 110 outlet and shuts off when the water level gets too low.

How heavy is it ? Ill need to get it upstairs to my bedroom.
This is a very light unit and can be carried easily up a flight of stairs. We took ours up a flight with no problems.

You have to push up from the bottom to get it over the lip.
