I bought this computer as I was happy with my old Toshiba, but was soon disappointed with this one. It would lock up for no reason and want to go to a complete hard-drive reboot which took hours. It would also lose the internet connection. BB Geek Squad said it was probably a hardware issue.
I did like the pretty finish on the unit.
I was happy with BB and its' return and exchange policy to which I had no problems.

Hi, I am still getting familiar with this new laptop and the Windows 10 platform. It has been a slow process. Moving songs from downloads to the media player is not as easy as on my old computer. I think I just need to keep plugging along.
Finding the Control Panel on here has been difficult. Don't know if it's W-10 or Lenovo.
The battery life is ok. I like the tablet function, but be warned, that the computer needs to be in laptop mode to do important things such as downloading Norton Security Suite.

I think I was only able to connect this device with a set of BT headphones. The range was not good, probably about 10 feet.
I have found that these small units do better with a dedicated AC power supply, a rechargeable battery just doesn't work for me.
Took it back to BB for a refund.

The combo router/modem, so far, has met our expectations. My old computer used to lose connection to our internet frequently. Now, I am not having that problem. Still takes a while to load some pages, but it is probably my internet speed.
It is nice to have one unit now replacing two. Hope that when the power goes out, that the unit will come back on w/o us having to manually reset it as with the old ones.

This tv met our expectations with all the imputs needed so far. We wish we could easily buy the 12V adapter so we could use it in a vehicle, say at a football game.
I was pleasantly surprised at the increased volume of this tv, even w/o turning on the external sound system. A lot of tvs have very weak sound output..

We didn't have too much difficulty setting up our Roku. Most of the apps load fast. You might have to sign into some apps or establish a new account such as with Sirius Xm. This was a main reason I bought the 3 was for that app.
Our internet speed is fast enough to run the RK device. Overall, we are very pleased. However, some apps require a fee, esp. the fitness ones.

If I leave my plasma on for too long would it melt inside
i have an apex that half the screen is now black. Would leaving it on too long cause this problem?
How old is your TV ? I think the very old plasmas could have this problem. We were told never to leave a paused-screen on our older plasma for too long as burn-in would happen.
As for what to do about it, sorry, I don't know. Hope you find an answer.

No, not directly, but most Blu-ray players have apps such as I-Heart and Tune-in which allow one to access a lot of fm and am stations throughout the country and world.

If your TV has an HDMI connection, you can use a Roku or Googlecast device to make your tv a "smart" one of sorts. On the google device, one can use the usb port to power the google device. Not sure on the Roku.

Hi, I have a Blu-Ray player that I have hooked up via an HDMI connection to my older plasma tv (not a smart-tv). The items you must have are home internet , an HDMI connection, and either a Blu-Ray player or Roku, Amazon tv box, etc. In other words, something to bridge the wi-fi to your HD tv.

You only have to pay for your internet connection as that is the only way my Blu-Ray can connect to the internet.
I do not have a smart tv, but I do have a Chromecast which kind-of makes my tv a smart tv. Once again, you must be connected to the internet for any of this to work.

the dynamic contrast ratio is different between the 2 models, and also the brightness -- 180 compared to 240. all else seems the same, except this one is 1/2" smaller, diagonally, the other has an extra HDMI input, and the speakers are a bit better (8W compared to 5W).
i don't care about the 1/2"; probably wouldn't need the extra HDMI; and doubt that 3W of speaker power would make the other model's sound much better (both probably need external speakers). but what is the dynamic contrast ratio and brightness?

Since I only have the one TV, I can't answer your first concern re: brightness.
You might however, in the future, need all the HDMI's you can get. For instance, you might want a BluRay player, a Google Chromecast, etc. connected to your TV along with the HDMI input from your cable/satellite box.
