Will my iPhone fit the docking station?

I currently have an iPhone 4S but i will probably be upgrading my iPhone to a 5 or 6 in the next month and I was wondering what iPhones will be compatible with the dock so i can have it charge while listening to music?

Probably not since the charging port is different in the 4. The 5 & 6 have a lightening charging port.

wireless connection directly to IPHONE

can I stream directly from iphone to speaker via bluetooth (wireless technology) and not thru my wifi network? example....if I bring out of the wifi area, can I use it with iPhone and no cable attached from speaker to device? thanks

This is an air play speaker, which is somewhat comparable (but not) to blue tooth. You do need a wifi network to use the air play feature from apple product to speaker wirelessly. If you do not have a wireless network you will have to hook your phone up to the speaker.

Air play is IOS comparable (apple). But I am pretty sure you can plug your phone into the speaker and it will work fine.

Yes, I'm have the air and the new iMac and iPhone and it works perfectly with all of them.

Linked speakers?

Is it possible to link multiple speakers wirelessly to a single device? For example: could i have a speaker in one room and then a speaker in the next playing off the same playlist/Ipod?

Yes, that is the reason why I bought it. I wanted a "sonos" like system without the price. These work great. I also have the smaller iHome iw3 speaker.
