Product was rfecommended by 2 Geek Squad members since they did not have a hard drive enclosure available. I tried to use it on 2 different desk tops & neither of them would recognize the device. I returned it to the store.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I've had this product installed for over a month and it has saved my system at least 4 times and the only way I knew it was thru its' program. The monitoring feature keeps track of what is happening and lets me see it when I want to. It is supporting 2 computers plus other equipment.
I would recommend this to a friend!

how many hours does this last continuously, for example a blackout or power outage. it says 121 mins but also 16 hours-kinda confused

Totally depends on how much you are trying to support. I have a lot on mine and it will let me shut it all down in an orderly fashion. I don't try to run during a complete outage.
