What's great about it: Get's you where you want to go, lifetime map updates
What's not so great: Nothing
I bought my first GPS about 4 years ago. I thought about updating my maps, but decided to put the money towards a new GPS. I bought this unit based on features for the money, a larger screen, and lifetime map updates. So far after a little over a month of use, this GPS has worked perfectly!

We have had whole house audio for years, but always wanted to connect out iTunes library to receivers, we also use this with airplay. With this product we can do all of that, plus get an improved wireless network with provides more speed than what was provided by our wireless network router that came with our broadband provider.

assuming both tv and comcast are HDMI, I would use this type of cable. Take a look ast AudioQuest Pearl. Reasonable price, and works perfect

I do not have an hd receiver or hd satellite dish, is there any way to achieve a clearer picture ?
Look to see if you can use component cables, not as good as HDMI, but way better than composite, and way better that an RF (Ant.) cable

Problems if kept in a cold room
Would this product be damaged if kept in a colder room
I don't think this would be a problem, but it depends on what you consider cold. If you are talking about a 3 season room, should be know issue. I would check the owners manual and look at the storage and operating specs that will list temperature and humidity

Does the base of the t.v. swivel ?
No it will not swivel, but it's light enough you can turn the whole TV and base together. It's very stable

splitter for incoming cable to all (10+) rooms in the house
is there a household splitter for multi rooms. not all are in use at a time. want to avoid series of splitters to avoid loss signal strength. would like to have 10 or 12
Yes there are, you can find splitters that do 1 to 4, 1 to 8 and more. Be careful though as the more you split signals, you will get some signal loss. Make sure you put terminator caps on ports you don't have cables connected to. You can get all of this in Best Buy or stores like home depot. If you need a better solution that will split a larger number of rooms and provide amplification, check out products from Chanel Vision.

My laptop has a vga connector and no hdmi ports. What is the best way to hook my pc up to my HDtv.
If your laptop has a mini video port connector there are adapters for this made by companies like Belkin. Some HDtv's have VGA connectors, check for this too! there are also VGA to HDMI adapters as well. Check for all three of these

How can I backspace in text mode with Garmin 52. Thanks
I had to delete the entire address and start all over. I can't see how to backspace
