Since I've had smartphones, I've worked in a maintenance/construction environment. I tried other phone cases but when I finally stumbled onto the OtterBox Defender Series several years back, I believe I found the best.
I've even accidentally run over one of them... twice... with my work truck with no damage to the case or phone.
The only weak point I've found is the belt clip. I have broken a few of them and usually can find a replacement for just that.

I decided to upgrade my 1 TB laptop hd to a SSD and couldn't decide what would be the best way to actually transfer the data. I saw this in the store when I was picking up my SSD and decided to give it a try.
I will say I made the upgrade go easy, I just put the SSD in this enclosure, downloaded the SSD software, transferred all of my data, unplugged, shutdown, swapped out the HD's and all is good.
Also, I now have a 1 TB external backup by using my old HD for backing up needed files.

I was looking for a way to add some speed to my 4+ year old laptop that was taking 2-3 minutes to boot after the Win10 upgrade.
This SSD replacement was the same capacity but wow, the speed increase is remarkable. Boot time is now about 10 seconds.
I'm very impressed and would highly recommend this upgrade to anybody wanting to speed up an older unit that has a traditional hard drive.

Bought two of these as I'm installing two individual PC's and need to have them both be able to automatically shut down with the enclosed software. I have used these before and not had any issues with them and don't expect any with these. Just make sure you plug the devices you want to have battery back-up into the appropriate receptacles and those just needing surge protection into the ones marked for that.

1-reviews claim has a red led that lights up during activity- mine doesn't. 2-it was supposed to be formated as exFat...mine is Fat 32
I just bought a PNY Turbo 128GB USB 3.0 Flash Drive - P-FD128TBOP-GE. according to reviews and other owners it has a red LED under the PNY sleeve that light up when active. Mine doesn't.

I have several of these brand of USB flash drives and they all have a LED "glow" when accessed under the smoke colored sleeve. If not lighting up, maybe try another USB port?
All of mine have been formatted as FAT 32, this brand as well as several others.
