Over the course of the past few weeks, I have barely taken the tracker off. It is comfortable and stylish. I have already lost 4 pounds. The only thing that I am not 100% happy with is the charger. It is a proprietary charger that clips on. Would probably benefit from either a wireless charger or micro USB.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Does the Vivosmart with heart rate monitoring require a seperate strap/band or do you still have just the Vivosmart tracker only

Its a separate Heart Rate Monitor. The Garmin. one is a chest strap.

what sleep details does the Garmin Vivosmart track?

light, deep, REM sleep tracked?
It tracks sleep. But I am unsure on the accuracy. The most recent Garmin app for android updated to show periods of light and deep sleep.

Does it have a gps?

does the Vivosmart have a gps to measure distance traveled?
No this tracker does not contain gps. it uses a step counter to calculate the distance. you can adjust your stride in settings though.
