It works great and sucks very well. At one point, it did not suck well and I realized that the air filter was full with dirt. You have to clean the air filter once a while in order for the vacuum to work well. The air filter is reusable -- just wash it off with water, squeeze it to let the water out and let it dry for a while before use it again.
I would recommend this to a friend!

What causes this model of vacuum cleaner to stop in the middle of the job? Is overheating an issue? Can this be fixed? If so, how?

Our Hoover T Series / 12 AMD was purchased less than a year ago and has been fuctioning well until today. It simply stopped in middle of vacuuming a small carpeted area. We thought it might have to do with apartment's electrical outlet, but apparently not. We'd emptied the container of dirt and checked to maje sure no obstruction was in the rollers -- replugged and it just would not turn on. I'm hoping that it just needs to cool off fior a while. Please advise if you've experienced what I described and how you remedied it. I'd paid over $150.00 for this vacuum cleaner and am hoping it's not altogether dead and gone. Thanks for your help!
You may want to check the vacuum's air filter. It may be filled with dirt and needs to be cleaned out periodically. Check this vacuum's manual on how to clean it.
