hallo,can this belkin n300 direct connect from modem to make wireless

my modem dont have wireless but have 4 port ethernet. so may i direct connect from modem to this extender and make a wireless..
This is a Wi-Fi extender and connects directly to the electricity outlet, you need a wireless router
