Like most electronic replacement parts, this one is relatively expensive but there is no choice. It is conveniently available at Bestbuy and easy to get to. And it works.

What's great about it: Large capacity and good price
What's not so great: not as fast as I wish it could be
Large capacity and good price. Retractable so not to worry about losing the cap. Unfortunately not as fast as I wish it could be. It is not a USB3.0 device. No regrets though.
This product has... Attractive design/portable, Large capacity/good size
About me... Budget Conscious, Need storage for large media files

Does this have a ring so that I can hook up with my key ring?

No. It does not have a ring to hook up to key ring. It may be a bit bulky for some key ring. There are some smaller ones more suitable for key ring but those are more expensive than this one.
