What's great about it: Ease of use and set up
What's not so great: Slow to recognize Mouse and Keyboard after switching
Hooked up personal computer and Laptop docking station. Quick and easy set-up. No issues so far. Delay after switching between machines of Wireless Keyboard and mouse. Video switches instantly
I would recommend this to a friend!

how well isolated are the computers

I have 2 Win 7 computers. If one is asleep (64-bit), the other (32-bit) has problems with the mouse. Pointer jumps and flickers, keyboard auto-repeats without limit. I have to keep waking up the 64-bit computer so I can use the 32-bit one. Is IOGEAR any better at isolating the two computers?
IOGear will isolate the two well. Mouse and keyboard are slow to switch between computers and wake up a sleeping one. No issues with flicker , jumps or repeating after it recognizes the switch
