This player has more features than any other one on the market. So many entertainment options built into the player. Absolutely awesome! Built in WIFI is fast, too.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I personally own a 10.1" tablet made by S*****g and this Acer 8". The Acer is, of course, lighter. It has been updated (most recent Android) 2 times since Xmas 2014 and is fast, bright and doesn't skip a beat. The battery life is not bad for how light the tablet is. The Intel processor has absolutely no problems with handling any task you throw at it.
The bigger Tablet I have has not had an update for well over a year and seems to no longer be supported or acknowledged by the manufacture. Just knowing that I spent less than 25% on the Acer compared to the bigger one makes me sick, as the Acer is an overall success, comparatively.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Can this tablet be upgraded to 4.4 Kit Kat?

Soon after you connect to wifi, you'll get notification of an update. The answer is, yes, Android 4.4 is available on this tablet.
