 Roku - 3 Streaming Player - Black
Roku - 3 Streaming Player - Black
Roku 3: Access more than 1,500 channels in up to 1080p and view videos from Netflix and YouTube directly on your TV. Fast, powerful and loaded with features, the motion-sensing remote lets you play games or plug in headphones to watch late-night flicks without waking up the household.

One of the better streaming devices out there

What's great about it: Easy to setup and use
What's not so great: Not as "powerful" as it claims
Awesome streaming device - not a huge fan of how "slow" it is, considering this unit is supposed to be the faster(est) unit out there but sometimes things do not register when I click on things. All in all though does what is advertised and since shutting off the cable have not missed it at all!
I would recommend this to a friend!

Can you record shows on DVR?

I have Verizon Fios DVR and wants to get Roku for additional channels. Can Roku shows be recorded? If not, what else do I need to buy to record?
I do not believe so - this is not really a question for the Roku device but more so for our Fios DVR unit. IF your DVR unit could do so - I do not see why you could not record shows in Roku. The major downside that I could see would be around the setup of the actual program that you would want to record.

So short answer - in theory you should be able to, but again its not up to the Roku box, but rather the device you are using as your recorder.
