I orginally bought it for my pc but it didnt supportt linux os so i was unable to use it. I was also dissapointed that it wasnt plug and play. The price was also way too high for what you get.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Is there a downloadable driver?

I am thinking of buying a Chromebook, but none of them seem to have CD drives. Is there a downloadable version of the driver for this product?
Most products don't offer drivers for a non windows os. Check their website and if you can't find one there it does't exsist.
