I purchased this TV for my daughter last Christmas and the 43" for my son. So it was finally time for me to buy one for myself. Amazing picture quality and color. I prefer this one over my more expensive Samsung LED Smart TV which is a 1080 , 120 refresh rate. To me the colors on a plasma are more true and deeper. Watching sports on this TV, makes you feel involved in the action.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Transporting

Can you move with box laying flat rather than up0right
No, plasma TV 's must be transported in an upright position. There is a lot of air space around the TV in the box so it's deceiving how big it is. I had to remove the one for my daughter out of its box to fit it in her car upright. We made sure it was stable and wouldn't fall over. Also watch for the placement of the screen so it doesn't get damaged. This will fit in the backseat of a full sized pickup, in the box. Just fold the seats up and the TV stands upright.
