I'll preface this with that I have a WX-350, and I've been extremely happy with it. I thought I wanted a boost to 30X zoom from the 20X zoom, and found that it wasn't so much of a difference that it justified the upgrade.
That aside, the HX90V and WX-500 are *almost* the same camera. The HX90V adds GPS, manual focus, and a popup OLED viewfinder. The viewfinder is really what adds the extra Benjamin or so to the price, and the viewfinder worked well for many situations that the rear screen wasn't as convenient. I found the tilt screen to be more useful than the viewfinder. (The viewfinder requires two steps to open and close it)
If I could pull a quarter of a star, it would be because even though there is a manual focus, it was initially difficult to get the camera to focus on exactly what I wanted, especially when zoomed in. There was a bit of a learning curve to it, and the manual focus worked best on the rear screen.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I've been through at least a dozen different BT headsets since the first ones were available and I had BT on my phone. Nine of those have been Motorola. I have tried most all of them, but the last few were the higher-end versions with dual mics and background noise suppression. My last favorites were the H12, H780, and the CommandOne. This new "Boom" is great. It's TINY, LOUD, has great battery life, and will handle two phones at once. It's also very easy to use, especially with the NFC pairing. There are only a couple drawbacks worth mentioning. The first is that once the battery says "One hour remaining," that hour seems to go quickly because the headset will tell you "low battery" at just under the half-hour mark. I guess it's not so bad, since it does give you a clear indication that you need to charge it. The other thing that bothered me at first was that the ear hook is only designed to be used with the earpiece that just sits on top of your ear. The earpiece that sits into your ear (for best fit) won't work with the ear hook. It seems like it would fall out easily. I found that the earpiece that sits in your ear is best for me, and it actually stays put unless I bump it enough to dislodge it.

I've used just about every small scale network device in the last 20 years, and have had a home network since before wireless networking was available to the consumer. I used "NG" devices, then "LS" devices for the majority of the time, until recently when the new AirPort Extreme router came out, as well as the new Time Capsule. With the Time Capsule, I get NONE of the issues I had with any of my other/older routers. I get the max real-world speed you can get from it, and it always connects after a particular device upon awake. SOLID connection is the key. It doesn't matter what device I use (Android phone/tablet, Apple devices, Windows computers/laptops, XBox, etc.)
The Time Machine portion of the Time Capsule (the big hard drive) is great and all my Mac computers back up to it seamlessly. Setup is effortless.
The caveats...
Three network ports. Three (3). No kidding. If you have more than three network devices or locations/jacks in other parts of the house, you have to add a gigabit router. If it even had four ports, I would be set. This adds another Jackson or Grant (or even a Benjamin if you get a really nice gigabit switch) to the cost of the Time Capsule.
The cost is one of the larger complaints. However, it seems that most of the leading edge equipment from NG & LS is pretty expensive too. When you take the big internal hard drive into consideration, it's not too bad.
I don't feel that the lack of network ports is enough to demerit a full star, so if I had to give it an exact number, it would be more like a 4.8 out of 5, especially considering how well the wireless performs.

Unlike typical TPU cases, this one FITS GREAT. The cutouts are aligned perfectly, the hole for the Lightning connector is large enough, and the cutout for the headset jack is just the right size for the buds plug. The TPU isn't too thick, and isn't so thin that it's floppy. It is also just the right balance between rigid and flexible.
I have a personal preference to be able to use the power button directly, so I cut out the power button nub. It turned out well, and I'm quite satisfied with the result.

is this 2.0 or 3.0 NASware firmware

I just picked up a couple of these in the last two weeks. NASware 3.0 on both drives. FWIW, some 2TB drives I got several months ago from BB were also NASware 3.0.

is this compatable with hearing aid in ear?

wear hearing aid in both ear and wonder if this will work with that setup,
If by that there is an option to use it with only the ear hook and the gel pad rests on the outside of your ear, then yes. There are no M or T ratings for these, but the noise cancellation may also help.

Is this Moto as fragile as some claim it to be?

To purchase this Moto only to have the boom piece break off, even while being constantly fragile with it, seems to be a waste of money...am I correct in assuming that? Is the boom piece really that flimsy?
Peace...AladdinSane ♐
I've had mine for almost a year now, and it's just as good as the first day I got it. I've had others break (older Moto), but this one isn't even loose.
