how do I transfer gallery photos and videos to my micro sd card in my samsung galaxy 3 tablet?

My samsung galaxy 3 tab is telling me ive used up too much storage space ive only had this since christmas..less than 2 months an have not downloaded anything all I use up space for is pics and photos. Please help! I even cleared cache etc.
First you want to set your settings in the camera to save your images on the SD card below
To change if the camera stores pictures on the internal memory (ROM) or SD card, follow these steps:
From any Home screen, tap the Apps icon.
Tap Camera.
Tap the Settings settings icon.jpg icon.
Swipe up on the menu and tap Storage.
Tap the desired storage location:

Phone
Memory card

Then you want to transfer your pictures already saved in your device memory to the SD card by going into your gallery and hold press on one of the pictures and it will let you then select the rest of the pictures that you want to move to the SD card. Once you have selected your pictures then press menu and there will be an option to move your pictures to the SD card.
