Nice picture. The 3D is awesome. However, I am having some issues with the TV turning off on its own occasionally.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Has anyone been able to use the ARC (audio return channel) function?

I watch over the air TV through an antenna and am trying to get the TV sound to playback through a Sony sound bar that uses HDMI connections and is supposed to work with ARC. The RCA owners manual suggests output from the TV should be connected through a HDMI cable into the Input connection on the audio device. The Sony device indicates that the Output connector (from the sound bar to the TV) is HDMI / ARC rated.
I use the ARC input for my receiver, which has my DVD player hooked up to it.
