Purchased this 1080p Roku Sharp as a gift. But TV would not hold network settings if off for more than 1 hour. Had to reenter all user info/passwords and/or unplug time after time to get TV to find network. Took it back for replacement but because of sale on Sharp 4K Roku, upgraded for small amount. Picture was remarkably better on 4K as it should be. Mother-in-law kept remarking how much better the picture on the 4K was. And no network problems.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Slow to wake up sometimes, so you start typing and only the last have of your word is there. You have to push hard on some of the command keys for them to respond. But good enough for the price paid.

Purchased to add to surround sound at later date but set them up by themselves with an old Sony receiver in guest bedroom. They sound great there and may just leave them.

This is to replace my son's first one that stopped working due to broken wire. He is hard on stuff like this and used it a lot. But still only lasted a year and wire is supposed to flex some without breaking, I would think. Try another brand if you can.

How does the wiring work?

So I was wondering if the speakers came with wires that connected immediately to a Television or if I would need to create my own wiring? Or could i purchase a pre-manufactured wire that would suffice? I have little experience with surround sound Equipment so any tips would be much needed.
They are passive which means you have to have an amplifier or a/v receiver to give them power.
