What's great about it: length of cord very tight sturdy feeling plug-in

What's not so great: No issues

Great cord no issues with audio or visual. Marketed as "game" but can be used for anything. I like the fact that the HDMI plug itself fits very snug into my TV, Monitor and laptop. I've experienced others that have not. Maybe this snug fit is good, maybe it's bad but to me it gives me peace of mind. This and the fact that it was inexpensive, a solid cord and the length are all Pro's. I can't think of any Con's.

I would recommend this to a friend!

Probably a stupid question but is this the type of HDMI cable I should use to connect my monitor to my computer?

Yes it works well for me. If you read about the HDMI cable industry or HDMI cabal you will soon learn there is no regulation for a certification of designation type of cables (so if you are buying gold plated HDMI cables for $100 you are getting taken). But don't take my word for it. Check out any high end Audio Video Forum on the up and up, like AVS Forum or check out cnet's Why all HDMI Cables are the same.
It says 'Gaming' but it works great for whatever your use is. It's inexpensive and it's 8' in length. I like the snug fit into my tv my laptop, my work laptop and my monitor.
