I have purchased this before years ago and finally had to replace. I loved my first one sooo much that I just had to purchase 2 more. I bought a replacement for my office and then a new one for home. My son likes it too so I plan on getting him one with his new laptop.
The smooth action of the ball is great and doesn't stick like other trackballs. The scroll wheel works great as well. Everything was very easy to setup. Just plug and play.

The case is has a nice grip and doesn't add too much size to the phone. The issues that I am having is when I go to use the stylist it is very cumbersome to get it out. I have average sized fingers for a 30 something male. You will really have to dig it out since the case is too long on the end.
The edges of the case come up just a hair too high so using the edges on my Note 7 isn't as easy as it should be.
Lastly the sleep button on the side of the case doesn't lineup perfectly with the button on the phone so you will have to really press hard.

Where can I find an old driver to set/reset the buttons. The Scroll on my trackball doesn't work any more with Windows 10 and I can no longer change the functions of the different buttons. Elecom is no help at all.
Logitech's support site has the software that you can download to make those adjustments in Windows 10. Make sure you get the software and not the drivers.

does it work with Chrome OS ?
Yes this will work with Chrome OS. My son has used it on his Chromebook many times. The only thing that I am not sure about is the side-to-side movement of the scroll wheel. The up and down works fine. Just never tried the side scroll.

Is the red track ball (from a wired mouse) interchangeable with the blue track ball (from a wireless mouse) ? I own wired mouse and LOVE it, I'm considering going to a wireless version, Also does the change in ball position make a big difference?
I too own a wired trackball and the wireless. The balls are NOT interchangeable. I highly recommend getting the wireless version. The ball placement made a huge difference because your thumb naturally moves quicker. Plus the design of the wireless is more comfortable.
