this is what i get when I try to format card.there is one song the last one it took seems to be the problem.but card will not let me past this point i can play songs that are on it.
My only recommendation here is just like when you have a hard drive that has a bad sector. You can access the info but cannot boot with it. So here's a solution. If you have the ability to read your card from a desk top. Transfer files to another card using your desktop computer. You should be able to access it and drag and drop the files you want. However, if you think the bad read is associated with a particular file on the disk versus a true bad sector then the same problem may occur. better to delete that item and download from an appropriate source again. If its a file, you can then reformat the memory card and use again.
