All of my A/V equipment is so simply managed now. The setup was very simple (I had read otherwise). You connect it to your computer and it finds your components online. When I'm ready to view a movie, I click one button and it changes everything. Watch TV, listen to the radio ... all a cinch with this amazing remote control!
I would recommend this to a friend!

Does it know what devices are already on?

Does this remote remember what devices are already on? For example, if I am watching TV and I decide to play my Xbox One (and hit the Xbox or Gaming Programmed Activity) does it realize the TV is already on and just change the input or will it run the command to turn the TV on, which turns the TV off?
That is the challenge. It does seem to remember that the TV is on. However, and this may be user error, when I switch off of watch TV to movies, games, or radio, it turns off the cable box. This is fine, but if I'm recording anything it gets cut off. If anything is scheduled to record and I've switched off of Watch TV to something else, turning off the DVR will keep those things from being recorded.
