Router works well and is nice to have the dual band capability. The only drawback is for remote access, one can not set up to directly access the router. You must go thru the linksys web service, which I see as a minor limitation.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Once I buy the router what keeps it connected that will allow me to access internet on my personal computer like Time Warner services their internet what would I do if I buy my own router who will service that router and make it usable

This router will connect to your Time Warner modem. Your PC will connect to this router. The internet service comes in thru the Time Warner modem which you will still need. This router will not replace the Time Warner internet modem.

Yes, standard monitor plugs in directly. It also has a hdmi port for an hdmi monitor.
